Do you serve breakfast?

Do you offer delivery?
Because we are often so busy making your special meal, we do not offer delivery. In addition, we want to ensure the best meal quality and experience possible, and we simply cannot guarantee that when it’s left to a third-party delivery service. However, we do encourage you to call ahead for pick-up and to-go orders. If you’re in a rush, call it in!
FAQs - coffee
What are your most popular coffee drinks?
It has been said that Ballywhack Shack Cafe serves some of the best espresso drinks in the area. We use beans locally roasted by Caffe Amouri of Vienna, VA, particularly their popular “Wolftrap blend”. Our baristas are more focused on providing a quality pour than creating extravagant latte art, however, we do love to try. Our customers also enjoy a new flavored latte option each day.
Do you have any seasonal or special coffee flavors?
Each month we like to highlight some of our staff’s favorite latte flavors, iced or hot, with or without foam. While our “honey rose” flavor appears throughout the year, we do offer seasonal selections such as the “campfire mocha” in the fall, “frosted peppermint” during winter months, or the “peak bloom” (cherry and white chocolate) in the spring. In the summer we tend to sell lots of iced lattes with cold foam.
Can you describe your espresso recipes?
We believe in classic, traditional espresso drink recipes such as the double espresso, 4oz of espresso, or the macchiato, 2oz of espresso + 2oz of foam. Our cappuccinos are 2oz espresso, 2oz steamed milk, + 2oz of foam.

Why aren’t you open on Monday and Tuesday?
We carry fresh ingredients, but with limited storage, this means we cannot store mass quantities for longer than 5 days of service each week. The days off are also welcome rest for many of our staff members who also work hard at school… plus our owner is old and sometimes needs a break too!
